The Peter J. Marshall Innovation Award Jury has presented its highest award to Middlesex County for the CARE First Deployment Initiatives led by Middlesex-London Paramedic Service (MLPS).

Middlesex-London Paramedic Service (MLPS) has been recognized with the Government Finance Officers Association's (GFOA) Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for its 2025 Budget.

MIDDLESEX COUNTY on December 10, 2024: During the Middlesex County Council Inaugural meeting today, Brian Ropp, Mayor of North Middlesex, was elected Warden of Middlesex County for the 2024/2025 term.

The Middlesex-London Paramedic Service (MLPS) is proud to announce that six dedicated paramedics — John Blaauw, Jodi Brenndorfer, Brian Jacklin, LT Jimson, Jessica Goncalves, and Craig Bothwell — have been awarded the Governor General of Canada’s Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Exemplary Service Medal.

Middlesex-London Paramedic Service (MLPS) is excited to announce the launch of a new Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) Rapid Response Unit (RRU), designed to provide more timely access to advanced healthcare for the citizens of London and Middlesex County.

September 9, 2024 - The Middlesex-London Paramedic Service (MLPS) is proud to announce its participation in the new Community Paramedicine for Long-Term Care Plus (CPLTC+) program, a pilot initiative launched by the Ministry of Long-Term Care. The CPLTC+ program expands on the existing Community Paramedicine for Long-Term Care program, allowing community paramedics to deliver essential diagnostic services directly in long-term care homes. These services include point-of-care testing such as urinalysis, Chem-8 and ultrasound, all of which help diagnose and treat conditions ranging from chronic kidney disease to diabetes.

September 5, 2024 - The Middlesex-London Paramedic Services (MLPS) Authority Board is excited to announce the appointment of Adam Bennett as the new Director of Paramedic Services, following an extensive national search. Adam Bennett, who has been serving as the Interim Chief, brings over 24 years of dedicated service with MLPS and a wealth of experience in leadership, operations, and community engagement.

Middlesex-London Paramedic Service is so excited to announce the return of our MLPS Paramedic Training Camp 2023! The immersive camp is geared for students aged 15-17 who are interested in learning more about the paramedic profession and First responder system as a whole. The week is filled with hands-on experience, and collaborative workshops with allied 911 agencies, and finished with a skills day on Friday.
