MLPS Board Chair Elected as Middlesex County Warden for 2024/2025 Term

MIDDLESEX COUNTY on December 10, 2024: During the Middlesex County Council Inaugural meeting today, Brian Ropp, Mayor of North Middlesex, was elected Warden of Middlesex County for the 2024/2025 term.

Mayor Ropp, a long-serving and dedicated member of County Council, accepted the responsibilities of Middlesex County Warden following the election. His commitment to public service and the residents he serves will ensure that the legacy of strong leadership at Middlesex County is continued.

Warden Ropp is currently serving his 2nd term as Mayor of North Middlesex. This will be his first term as Warden. Warden Ropp also currently serves as the MLPS Authority Board Chair.

MLPS operates from 13 strategically located stations providing 24-hour pre-hospital emergency and non-emergency care to the residents and visitors of Middlesex County and the City of London. MLPS Headquarters, located at 1035 Adelaide Street South, London, Ontario oversees over 450 highly trained professionals including Paramedics, Supervisors, Logistics Technicians, Quality and Investigations Professionals, Management, Educational and Administrative Support Staff.
